Asus Transformer Prime: sul mercato solo a dicembre?

Imprevisto da fronteggiare, per tutti coloro che avevano pensato di acquistare subito il nuovo tablet Asus Transformer, il cui lancio era previsto in un primo momento entro il 9 novembre.

A quanto pare, infatti, sono subentrati degli imprevisti legati prevalentemente all’adattamento di del dispositivo al nuovo sistema operativo Android Ice Cream Sandwich, atteso sul mercato, nella sua versione, entro qualche giorno, con l’arrivo sugli scaffali del Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Stando alle ultime voci, più in particolare, pare che il prossimo appuntamento dovrebbe essere fissato entro i primi di dicembre, anche se si attendono comunicazioni da parte di Asus.

Questo, nel dettaglio, quanto riportato da Digitimes: “Asustek Computer, which had originally been set to launch its latest Transformer Prime tablet PC with Android 3.2 on November 9, has postponed the launch schedule to early December as Google reportedly agreed to provide assistance to help the machine to natively feature Android 4.0, according to sources from upstream supply chain. However, as Google is providing assistance to the vendor’s products, the sources believe the action may help Google to defend from the assault of Microsoft, while forcing Microsoft to lower its Windows 8 licensing fee”.

Insomma, cresce l’attesa per l’Asus Transformer Prime, ma soprattutto per Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
