Samsung Galaxy S: Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3 è ormai realtà

I più impazienti, che sono in possesso di un Samsung Galaxy S, possono dirsi soddisfatti.  Gli utenti che hanno deciso di sbloccare il proprio dispositivo, infatti, avranno la possibilità di utilizzare una ROM dedicata al sistema operativo Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3, garantendo al proprio smartphone un importante salto qualità.

Queste le istruzioni che sono fornite sul forum di XDA-Devolpers per effettuare il porting:

If you are flashing to ICS for the first time.

—-You should be able to flash this on top of just about anything, but some people report flashing over CM7 works better—

1. Flash any MTD based ROM (CM7/MIUI for example)
2. Reboot into recovery using button combos.
3. Flash MTD based ROM.
4. Wipe data/factory reset.
5. Wipe cache.
6. Flash RC1
7. Reboot.

If you are upgrading from an earlier build.

1. Flash the newest build in CWM.

If you have rebooted and your phone will not go past the kernel screen

1. Boot into CWM and wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition.
2. Reflash the appropriate kernel.
3. Reboot.

If you have actually read and tried all these instructions and are still stuck

1. Join us in the IRC channel and ask for help. Please don’t be stupid, try the above first.
